Happy New Year y'all!
New year, new decade, new name. 
And, as I like to do each year, let's start this thread off with a Scripture verse
This year, I've chosen Psalm 5:11:
But let all those
who take refuge and put their trust in You

Let them ever sing and shout for JOY
because You make a covering over them and defend them;
let those also who love Your name
be JOYFUL in You and be in high spirits!

At first I mistaked Sharon-Marie for Shemaromans! Ironically they have a similar name!  Have you lost weight? Great haircut too!

Hello Eclectic Joy, and happy new year! :) 
Before I rush out and, not to be left out, change my handle to "ascorbic acid", I thought I had better figure out what yours meant.
Merriam Webster has something to offer on this..."selecting what appears to be best in various doctrines, methods, or styles"...hmmm.
So what does it mean? Or is it...a secret?

But, it's not a secret . . . and it doesn't mean what our good friend Samuel declares; at least not for me.
It was a handle I chose for one of the online dating sites I was playing around in a couple of months ago. What it means to me is two-fold:
(a) that a person truly can find true JOY in anything, regardless of their circumstances if they keep their eyes and their heart focused on Our Lord. (kinda paraphrasing Paul when he said, to be content in all things).
(b) this past year, I endeavored to get more involved in living my life; and in doing so, I discovered that I have quite an eclectic range of interests and activities that bring me joy.
There ya go.
So, uhm, SirW, if you change your name, can I call you AA?
